Monica & Mehdi, Vocals and Ney - Unexpected Improvisation Session
“Nu-i lumina nicari. This is story of two strangers who met accidentally in the train on the way to Brasov in Romania. They started to improvise near the train station before even knowing each others name. The camera man being present at that spot recorded this moment. This clip is an expression of Iranian Traditional Music and a Romanian folk tune being improvised at the time. This concept later was developed to Roots Revival by Mehdi Aminian. Filmed and recorded by Catalin Lesscu, Brasov, May 2012.”
