Eyecode (Screencapture, 2560x1080) -  Golan Levin

‘Eyecode (2007) is an interactive installation whose display is wholly constructed from its own history of being viewed. By means of a hidden camera, the system records and replays brief video clips of its viewers’ eyes. Each clip is articulated by the duration between two of the viewer’s blinks. The unnerving result is a typographic tapestry of recursive observation.’

The Blind Robot  - Louis-Philippe Demers
Presented by Laboratoria Art&Science in the non-profit program of the International Contemporary Art Fair COSMOSCOW 2016

‘BLIND ROBOT is comprised of a robotic manipulator. Visitors are invited to sit in front of the machine and engage in a nonverbal dialogue with it. The robot delicately explores the body and the face of the visitor in a manner reminiscent of that of a blind person. The act of touching creates an emotionally charged connection between the human and the robot.’
